We’d also love to see DxO integrate Nik Collection with Capture One as a native plugin. Nevertheless, it’s a step in the right direction. If you need to make changes to your raw file down the line, you’ll then need to re-export a TIFF and subsequently re-do all of the edits made using the Nik plugins. While you can certainly revisit edits made within Nik Collection 3, this only applies to changes made to the TIFF file itself. Exporting a TIFF from a raw file is a non-reversible process by nature, much like destructive edits are. This is due to the fact that you’ll still need to first export your raw images into TIFFs prior to working on them within one of Nik Collection 3’s plugins. While this is certainly a welcomed addition, we’re hesitant to call this new workflow truly non-destructive. At present, this only works with Lightroom Classic though. For more precise editing, however, you’ll still need to make the necessary adjustments individually.Ī non-destructive workflow is now possible when using Nik Collection 3 thanks to the use of TIFF multipage files. This is handy when you want to apply the same edits across a batch of images shot in similar conditions. Using Last Edit, you can quickly reapply the same adjustments in one click without having to manually retrace your steps within a particular plugin.

However, I have one that I want to update now and I don't know where to put it. QUESTION: Is there something I can/should do to sort this? All my other presets are scattered - a sampling below. In this folder I find Viveza lrtemplates (each is 1KB) - probably a shortcut to somewhere. Lightroom shows the default preset folder is: \Users\P\Appdata\Roaming\Adobe\Lightroom\External Editor Presets I cannot find any of my presets in XML format. Additionally, only 3 presets were converted(ASAIK), leaving the ~~ files in place. It seems that my plugins and external files are scattered thruout my system. I converted from LR6.10 to Lightroom Classic 7.31 yesterday.
